FPC Salem has some upcoming events I would like to tell you about. Please add a few items to your calendar and share your support and prayers for our Missions!
- Our church picnic will be August 4th. We invite you to join us at the church manse (60 Market Street, a block from the church). The day will start with outdoor worship at 10:00 am, food and fellowship following.
- Please mark your calendar… We are planning to resume 11 AM worship on September 22nd.
- I am so happy to report FPC is sponsoring a new Youth Specialist, Paul Villegas. Paul began in June and is spending the summer working with Lighthouse MInistry out of FPC, doing summer camps and Project Restore, a mission within the Salem community.
- Our mission to Puerto Rico was a success, to God’s glory. Working through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, we were based out of Camp Guacio outside San Sebastian in the northwest mountains. We completed 4 projects on homes in need of repair after Hurricane Maria. Fourteen young adults and leaders participated in this mission. Much thanks to FPC for making the trip possible.
